Seán Mc Dermott has spent a lifetime as an educator and although he retired from teaching several years ago, his passion for the Irish language is as strong as ever. In his ‘Introduction to the Irish Language & Culture’, Seán takes a gentle approach to Irish words in everyday conversation, encouraging everybody to make more use of the vocabulary they have, and maybe add a few new words. Learn and practice some Irish phrases, sing a song as Gaeilge, dance a Clare set or even experiment with some hurling skills!
