Dr. Labhrás Ó Murchú, Ardstiúrthóir, Comhaltas Ceoltóirí Éireann, will officially launch  Fleadh Nua 50 on Sunday the 26th May at 7pm in Cois na hAbhna. The Liverpool Céilí Band made history when they became the first overseas band to be crowned All-Ireland Champions in 1963 at Mullingar, a feat that they repeated in 1964 at Clones. We welcome them back to Fleadh Nua 50 for the festival launch concert. Visit The Liverpool Céilí Band Exhibition at the Clare Museum throughout May and June.
